Legal Aspects of Deadly Force
This is a 2 - 3 hour class based on legal aspects of carrying a firearm for personal defense and the use of deadly force. We will discuss definitions under the DE code of deadly weapons, deadly force, use of non deadly and deadly force etc and when and what type of force is justified in protecting self and others in public, in the home and in the work place. we will also discuss what do to, who to call, what to say and to whom and when after a deadly force encounter to protect and guide oneself through the legal process. We discuss in some detail the physiological and emotional responses to high stress situations causing tunnel vision, slow motion perception, tunnel vision, false memory etc and how that relates to the importance of invoking Miranda rights and seeking legal counsel immediately.
