207 - Diminshed Light - Rifle/Handgun Transition

This is a 4 - 5 hour course designed for experienced shooters. (Experienced means a good working knowledge of your firearms, loading, unloading, reloading and malfunction clearing of both weapon systems). We will cover transitioning from the rifle to handgun, fixing malfunctions with both weapon systems, recovering back to the rifle correctly, mindset, awareness and many other tactical considerations all while using lighting systems with each weapon system. We will put you in several types of scenarios including; moving and shooting, use of cover and concealment, non-traditional shooting positions and much more.

We can customize a course for the students attending and meet their skill level in a challenging way. We are strict with the basic combat fundamentals and stress perfect practice. Expect to fire on average 200 rounds of handgun ammunition 200 rounds of rifle ammunition in this course.

  • Strong side belt holster
  • Sturdy gun belt (double thickness, dept store belts are INFERIOR)
  • Minimum of 3 magazines, if you use low capacity magazines consider bringing 4-6 magazines
  • A Fighting rifle (Bolt, lever, semi auto not limited to AR or AK)
  • 400 rounds of rifle ammunition
