101 - Intro to ar rifles
This 6-8 hour course is for the beginning rifle shooter wanting to learn the operation of an AR type rifle.
This class is more than just shooting; it is designed to teach you the fundamentals of operating your rifle. This class is intended to give you a base knowledge for handling and firing your rifle. You will leave comfortable manipulating a rifle in function, movements and around others. This course will help prepare you to take our Combat rifle class.
We will use a combination of your rifle, Training rifles, and our state of the art simulator.
This class will cover subject matter such as:
- Firearms Safety
- Nomenclature – break down
- Cycle of Operation
- Fundamentals and techniques
- Loading/unloading/reloading
- Snap up drills
- Positional shooting
- Simulated fire
This class is held indoors at our Defense Training Facility and does NOT require live ammunition. Learn in a climate controled, user friendly and safe environment.
Equipment list:
- One (1) open mind
- An AR15 rifle (5.56, .223 or 9mm) with a sling
- Minimum of 2 magazines
