REAL ESTATE AGENT SAFTEY AND SELF DEFENSE
The goal of this 2 hour course is to inform and educate real estate agents on how to stay safe on the job.
OBJECTIVES
- Recognize the unique aspects of your job that put you at risk of a violent encounter.
- Learn to avoid violent encounters by developing an acute awareness of your surroundings. Differentiate between “looking” and “seeing,” and understand how to detect threat indicators early.
- Recognize the physical and psychological effects you might experience during a dynamic critical incident.
- Learn how to employ various defensive strategies to mitigate an unwanted encounter before it escalates.
- Recognize the defensive options — both armed and unarmed — you can use to help keep you safe.
- Describe how to treat various traumatic and medical emergencies.

NOT IN MY HOUSE! Developing A Personal & Home Protection Plan
Are you prepared for the unthinkable: an intrusion into your home? Not In My House is a comprehensive course designed to provide you with tools and tips on staying safe when you're out and about in public, as well as remaining safe when you return home. Learn some simple best practices so that you can minimize the risk of becoming a victim.

SHOULD I SHOOT: UNDERSTANDING THE LEGAL USE OF FORCE
Know what to expect from the legal system when you use lethal or non-lethal force in protecting your property, your loved ones, and yourself. Understand the actions you need to take to protect yourself from criminal and/or civil litigation and the financial ramifications that can occur if you're not prepared.

Avoiding Conflict & Managing a Violent Confrontation
Understand the basic principles in avoiding conflict, being aware of potential criminal activity and how to extract yourself from a possibly violent situation. Learn best practices for keeping you and your loved ones safe in your home and in the streets.

GUNS, GADGETS & GEAR: BUYING MY FIRST FIREARM
You’ve decided you want to buy a handgun. But how do you know what gun is right for you? This course will provide you with some basic considerations you need to be aware of when buying your first handgun. Learn about different types of holsters and other necessary gadgets if you plan to conceal carry or defend your home.
Topics covered will be:
- Understanding a handgun’s actions
- Understanding semi-automatics
- Which handgun is right for you
- What to look for in a holster
- Holster options for women
- Options for storing your gun

USCCA PROTECTOR ACADEMY
If you are a USCCA member and participating in the USCCA Protector Academy we offer the shooting qualifications during Delaware Tactical training classes. Below is a list of courses and what level of the protector academy they will qualify for. Several of our classes meet the needs for qualifications for all levels of the protector academy. We will also take request for qualifications during any of our classes. In the future we will hold USCCA Protector Academy qualification days where for a small fee you will be able to come out and shoot your course of fire and receive the necessary training required for your specific level.
