Bail Enforcement Agents (BEA)

All applicants intending to carry a firearm must complete a 40-hour firearms course with an approved instructor. See Rules & Regulations 1.2 under the Firearm’s Policy in the link below for additional information.

You will need to provide the following equipment for the course:

Paperwork that you will need signed
Duty firearm
Duty rig with holster
Magazine pouches are required
Pants with belt loops (NO SWEAT PANTS or YOGA PANTS)
Good belt
Minimum of 3 magazines - If less than 15 rounds then 4-5 magazines- no revolvers
1000 rounds of target ammunition for your firearm
Handheld flashlight
We will give you 3 attempts to qualify during the course
If you do not have the required equipment you will be asked to reschedule. No exceptions.
