A Constable must qualify on 2 day and 1 low light shoot per year. a day and night may be combined but the next day qualification must be at least 90 apart from the first. Below are some links that can help you navigate the process.

This is the 40 hour firearms course you will need to work as a constable.

You will need to provide the following equipment for the course:

• Paperwork that you will need signed
• Duty firearm
• Duty rig with holster
• Minimum of 3 magazines - if using a revolver then a minimum of 3 speed loaders
• 1000 rounds of target ammunition for your firearm
